2009 BATCH (PGDBA, PGDHRM, PGDIT, PGDIB, PGDEA, PGDID, PGDCRM, PGDRM, PGDSCM, PGDIM) ON DEMAND ONLINE EXAMINATION Dear Students, ON DEMAND EXAMINATION means that SCDL is now providing the facility to the students to choose the exam date him/herself at a time, most convenient to him/her throughout the validity period of the course. ON LINE EXAMINATION means that the medium of conducting these exams will be through computers provided at the APTECH ATTEST CENTERS. These exams are conducted under strict invigilation. EXAMINATION PROCESS : This consists of two sections A ) Exam Form Submission B ) Exam Slot Booking PROCEDURE TO APPEAR IN ONLINE EXAM 1. Online examinations can be taken only after the payment of Full Program Fees. 2. Download Exam Form from the option Exam Form available under student centre Login 3. Students are required to pay Rs. 150/- towards the online exam Fee for each subject. 4. Submit the duly filled exam form at SCDL, Pune along with Cash/DD towards an exam fee 5. The DD should be drawn in favor of “The Director, SCDL, Pune” and must be payable at Pune. Full Name of Candidate & Complete Registration Number should be mentioned on reverse side of DD. The exam fees can be paid in Cash @ SCDL Cash Counter. 6. Duly filled Exam form/s along with the exam fee can be submitted up to 28th of every month to SCDL Mail Department & at SCDL, Cash Counter. 7. On receipt of duly filled exam form to SCDL, the online exam details (as filled in exam form by the student) gets processed in the system within next 3-5 working days. (Excluding Sunday/ Govt. Holiday/ Festival Holiday). 8. Student must visit SCDL website regularly to check the updations of the online exam details towards the exam form submitted to the institute to do exam slot booking accordingly. 9. Once the online exam details are processed in the system, students can book their exam slots for next 2 consecutive months. 10. Online examination result for the online exam attempted in last month will be declared on 10th of every month. 11. There is no re-evaluation / re-checking for online exam result. 12. Minimum passing marks in each online examination is 35/70. 13. Students can re-appear for failed subject/s only & also within course registration validity. 14. There is no Class Improvement for already passed online examination/s. EXAM SLOT BOOKING 1. Once the exam details have been processed in the system, students can start the exam slot booking. 2. Please note online examinations are conducted between 1st to 25th of every month. (Excluding National Holidays, Tuesdays & Sundays). 3. Availability of Exam Slot is on First Come First Serve Basis. 4. To book exam slot, students are required to put their Log in Id & Password in the student centre & click on Book Exam Slot. 5. After clicking on Book Exam Slot, students can see the online exam details updated in the system for the respective subjects they have applied. 6. Please Click on “Book Your Exam Slot” ( to start actual slot booking ) 7. Students can select the fields from the drop down list e.g. City, Centre, Date, Time Slot & Name of Subject ( please note it takes certain time to go to the next option after selecting any field ) 8. Once the selection process of all required field is completed, students should click on Submit Button. 9. A pop – up window will be displayed , which will show the slot booking details you have done i.e. the required fields you have selected @ the time of slot booking. ( if any changes to be made in the said selection, click on back to go to previous page again ) 10.Click on Confirm, to store the slot booking details in the system permanently. ( Once student clicks on Confirm button, slot booking details can not be changed, cancelled or re-scheduled, under any circumstances) 11. To avail the required date, time slot & Exam Centre as per the choice, Students must do the exam slot booking within 3 working days (after the data uploaded on slot booking page). Please refer Point # 2, mentioned above. 12.Exam Fees are non refundable & non transferable. 13.Exam Slot Booking will not be available on 29th, 30th & 31st of particular months. (Student can start slot booking again from 1st of next consecutive month after 10.00 a.m.) 14.In case, student does not book the exam slot or remain absent in the online exam even after the slot booking is done, students are required to re-pay the exam fees for the re-booking of same subjects again. Exam fees paid are non refundable & non transferable. 15.Students should take print out of Hall Ticket immediately after the slot booking is done. You will not be allowed to appear in the online examination without Hall Ticket. ( In case, of you unable to take print out immediately, make sure to take print out of hall ticket in due course of time, without waiting till the actual exam scheduled date ) 16.Print out of Hall Ticket can be taken between 1st to 28th of every month & not on 29th, 30th, or 31st of any particular month. Exam Slot Booking Process: - On receipt of online exam form/s to SCDL, online exam details get processed in the system within next 3 –5 working days. e.g.:- if exam form is submitted to SCDL on 20th of any month, then online exam details will be processed in the system between 23rd – 25th of same month. (In case Sunday / Govt. Holiday / Festival Holiday comes within the said duration, no. of day/s will get added in the exam form processing. ) The exam slot booking will be released thereafter & all such students must book their exam slots on or before 28th of same month for next 2 consecutive months. On the basis of exam form processing in the system, if student is unable to book the exam slot on or before 28th of same month, then exam slot booking will be released once again from 1st to 28th of next month, for next 2 consecutive months. As per the above mentioned process i.e. even after exam slot booking has been released, if student does not book the exam slot within the stipulated due date period, then exam slot booking for that particular period will get expired & students are required to re-pay the exam fees to rebook the same subjects.
